masscan

Asynchronous port scanner: sweeps huge ranges in seconds.

A port scanner that does not use the system TCP stack: it forges its own packets and does not wait for a reply before sending the next one. That lets it sweep whole network ranges (or all 65535 ports of many hosts) in the time nmap takes for one, at the cost of not identifying services or versions. The normal use is two-phase: masscan discovers what is open across the network and nmap profiles only those ports.
